Quality Supervisor

Description

This position serves as a supervisor over the Chemistry Laboratory for night shift personnel and reports to the Quality Assurance Manager. QA night shift supervisor also assists operations with troubleshooting and direction for product quality and safety.
Hours: 4:30pm to 1:30a M-F with flexibility.

  • BS in Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry, Food Science or related discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or related industry in a quality control laboratory.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role is strongly preferred. Individual will have 5 direct reports to lead.
  • Possess a understanding of microbiological organisms and chemical analyses and their impact in the operational environment, in products, and in raw materials.
  • Knowledge on writing reports on chemical analyses and stating the technical findings, interpretations, conclusions, and root cause analysis and corrective actions for laboratory investigations.
  • Demonstrated progressive responsible experience in a pharmaceutical or food/beverage microbiology setting with a strong familiarity with cGMPs, microbiological methods and method validation requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply FDA regulation relevant to company processes, and a thorough understanding of quality assurance, release methods, and internal auditing.
  • An established working knowledge of SQF, HARPC/HACCP and ISO. SQF, PCQI/HACCP, ISO certified strongly preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
